Back in August I travelled over to Estonia and Finland with my Younger Brother and my Dad. It was an absolutely wicked trip, and super interesting visiting two new countries. We were in Tallin, the capital of Estonia, for the majority of the trip, and so spent a lot of time exploring the Old Town, including a visit to one of the coolest little restaurants; Von Krahli Aed.
For the quality of food, the price is insane. The meal for the three of us was the cheapest whilst we were away, yet probably one of the best dinners of the trip. The decor of the place, the menu and the ambience were all top draw. It was a very chilled out place, with really friendly staff. All the decor shared the same quirky design and the courtyard out back was ace (unfortunately I didn’t get a snap of it!).
I chose the Pan-fried white fish for my main, and I was not disappointed. The warm salad was delish, and nothing beats a garnish of clams. For my dessert I chose the Sea buckthorn dessert, which was interesting..the chocolate mousse was incredible, but the Sea buckthorn was something I’ve never tried before. It was…okay.
If you ever go over to Tallin for a trip, holiday, or fleeting visit make sure you go into the Old Town and visit Aed.
