Hurrah! Happy New Year! My first post of 2015…is about 2014. December was an absolutely wicked month, as always. I had a pretty busy month, like a lot of other people, I did a fair amount of traveling and got to see a lot of good friends and close family, happy days!
I started the month, continuing my driving lessons (they are going very well I may add!) which I am very much enjoying, and working a fair amount, with the added bonus of work Christmas Lunches and celebrations – how can you not love Christmas?! During the second week of December I headed up to Birmingham to be a runner on a short film shoot which was a wicked experience and I have hopefully made some decent connections from it – the future is looking bright! I also got the chance to head up to London to see my good friend Shiana (check out her blog here) and we headed to The Breakfast Club for Brunch which was incredible, I would highly recommend it. We then spent the rest of the day mooching around London, mainly Shoreditch – meaning to do last-minute Christmas shopping…but achieving nothing. Christmas seemed to roll around a lot quicker this year, than I remember doing in the past, however I throughly enjoyed myself, over indulging, spending time with my family, drinking copious amounts of alcohol, and playing too many games of Risk and other board games that only seem to come out during Christmas. I was very lucky this year, receiving a tonne of decent gifts, for which I will probably share in a blog post in the next few weeks. New Years Eve was another night of copious alcohol, and, that’s probably all I shall go into it. It was a wicked night spent with a good bunch of people in London, can’t go wrong!!
Pictures this month include a #tb to the day I left New Zealand (Yes, those posts will be coming this year!!), a couple of snaps from my blog posts (some of which I am yet to post), a selfie, my brunch from The Breakfast Club, my Christmas dinner (pre-gravy), and one of my favourite Christmas books “The Night Before Christmas”!
2015 is looking to be a good year for me (I am going to make it my year, anyway!), I have lots planned, and have made a number of goals and targets to meet this year, one being getting on top of my blog and posting more regularly, It WILL happen this time!! Anyway, here is to a splendid 2015 for us all!
