I’ve always been a fan of a film magazine by the name of Little White Lies, if you haven’t seen or read their content before, I would highly recommend getting yourself a copy or checking out their website. They produce one of the most aesthetically pleasing film magazines that you will ever have the pleasure of touching, reading and owning, on top of all that the writing is ace and they have a pretty well established movie knowledge. Check out their website, and magazine for a whole new movie magazine experience. Now, Little White Lies is a product of TCOLondon and Human After All (however LWLies is now run solely by TCOLondon), and Human After All are the guys behind the Cult Movie Cards.

Back in May 2014, I saw a tweet about a new Kickstarter project for something under the title of Cult Movie Cards, I checked out the page and fell in love with the idea. I knew the project was being run by the guys over at Human After All so the final product would be of the highest quality and awesomeness, and I was not mistaken. Okay, I had to wait until the beginning of December 2014 until my cards arrived, but I was super happy with the result. The cards are manufactured by the U.S Playing Card Company, who make THE best playing cards (what most casinos, magicians and card enthusiasts use), so the quality and finish of the cards are superb.

Through-out the Kickstarter process H.A.A were teasing us with updates and new images of potential cards (all of which I think made the final cut), and the films that they have drawn out on the cards are all ace. There is a quiz on Buzzfeed if you want to try to guess them all!

I couldn’t be happier to have been a backer of this project, and you should definitely go and check them out/ buy yourself a deck!
