I think one of the hardest things about running your own business is knowing when to take a break, and what taking a break can actually mean for your wellbeing.
As August came to an end, so did Lucy’s break and the summer weather. We wanted to treat ourselves to a weekend away before Lucy went back to work and the summer came to an end, so an impromptu weekend away it was.
Oh, how original, how new. It’s like no one else has ever written about their desire to own a Tesla. Wait a second, they have?! Well, let me join the club.
Back at the beginning of the year, I set myself the goal of starting and completing a bullet journal. Seven, almost eight, months into the year and I am proud to say that I am still going strong. This is my beginner’s bullet journal.
Last year, Lucy and I visited the wonderful and glorious National Trust property that is Fountains Abbey. We had an absolutely amazing day out exploring and soaking up the spectacular grounds and abbey.
The irony of this post is that I drafted it about two months ago, then two weeks ago we moved…
I saw in 2018 in Guernsey in the company of my wonderful girlfriend, Lucy, and two of our pals; Heather and Conor. Drinking wine and eating cheese – how very middle class.
I ended 2017 knowing that I wanted to become more mindful. In terms of my finances, my behaviours, my actions and so on. So 2018 is going to be The Year of Mindfulness.
Now, this is what you call a delayed blog post. We visited Bourne Mill back in the September (of last year now!) and it’s taken me until now, January 2018, to actually get around (find the time) to write any form of words about it. It’s been a crazy 7 months since my last post, I promise.
On a quiet bank holiday Monday I found myself browsing YouTube, watching cat video after cat video until I stumbled upon something different, something that caught my attention and inspired me to plan some DIY. HomeMade Modern. Interior Design Ideas for the future.
For Lucy’s birthday this year, I wanted to do something a little bit different and fun. Fortunately her birthday fell around one of the jousting events at Hedingham Castle.
Posts like this usually start with ‘So…’, So…You know I’ve mentioned about my company a few times on here? Yeah, well we rebranded. In February of this year we began trading as Two Cubed Creative.
I thought I would revisit one of my blogs old series; In Photos. I really enjoyed throwing some images from the past month together and creating a narrative of the month in a post, so, I am brining it back. This first one is from New Years Day, Lucy was pretty wrecked, so was Lady..
I had no intention of throwing together a post about my trip to Guernsey with Lucy, alas I snapped a few pictures on a number of wintery walks, and thought I’d share them on here.
Thomas & Evans No. 1, fresh, zingy and bloody delicious. For a non-alcoholic beverage, this stuff is the crème de la crème.
